Understanding document statuses

Statuses tell you whether a quote, contract, invoice or receipt is still waiting for the client.

Quotes and estimates
A draft is only visible to you. After you send it, the client can review it. They may accept or decline it. Clemion then shows the response.

Contracts
A sent or viewed contract is waiting for signature. Once the client signs, the contract is signed.

Invoices
A sent invoice with a remaining balance is awaiting payment. It can also show as viewed, overdue or partially paid. When the balance is zero, it is paid.

Receipts
A receipt is issued after a payment has been recorded. The client can view the issued receipt in the Client Hub.

Client-facing labels
The Client Hub uses simpler labels, such as Ready, Awaiting signature or Payment due. Your workspace keeps the full document status.
